وَيَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ
عَنِ
ٱلۡمَحِيضِۖ
قُلۡ
هُوَ
أَذٗى
فَٱعۡتَزِلُواْ
ٱلنِّسَآءَ
فِي
ٱلۡمَحِيضِ
وَلَا
تَقۡرَبُوهُنَّ
حَتَّىٰ
يَطۡهُرۡنَۖ
فَإِذَا
تَطَهَّرۡنَ
فَأۡتُوهُنَّ
مِنۡ
حَيۡثُ
أَمَرَكُمُ
ٱللَّهُۚ
إِنَّ
ٱللَّهَ
يُحِبُّ
ٱلتَّوَّٰبِينَ
وَيُحِبُّ
ٱلۡمُتَطَهِّرِينَ

Dhiiga laguu (haydii) irraas si gaafatu jedhi Inni (iddoon isaa) xuriidha; kanaafuu yeroo dhiiga xurii keessa dubartoota irraa fagaadhaa. Hanga isaan qulqullaa’anittis isaanitti hin dhihaatinaa. Yeroo isaan qulqulleeffatan, bakka Rabbiin isin ajajeeniin isaan bira dhaqaa. Dhugumatti Rabbiin warra gara Isaa tawbataniifi qulqulleeffatan ni jaalata.

Sexual Intercourse with Menstruating Women is prohibited
Imam Ahmad recorded that Anas said that the Jews used to avoid their menstruating women, they would not eat, or even mingle with them in the house. The Companions of the Prophet asked about this matter and Allah revealed:
