يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ
مَاذَا
يُنفِقُونَۖ
قُلۡ
مَآ
أَنفَقۡتُم
مِّنۡ
خَيۡرٖ
فَلِلۡوَٰلِدَيۡنِ
وَٱلۡأَقۡرَبِينَ
وَٱلۡيَتَٰمَىٰ
وَٱلۡمَسَٰكِينِ
وَٱبۡنِ
ٱلسَّبِيلِۗ
وَمَا
تَفۡعَلُواْ
مِنۡ
خَيۡرٖ
فَإِنَّ
ٱللَّهَ
بِهِۦ
عَلِيمٞ
٢١٥
‘තමන් වියදම් කළ යුත්තේ කුමක් දැ?’ යි ඔවුහු නුඹගෙන් විමසති. ‘යහපත් දැයින් නුඹලා වියදම් කළ යුත්තේ දෙමාපියන්, ඥාතීන්, අනාථයින්, දුප්පතුන් සහ මගියන්ට වේ’ යැයි නුඹ පවසනු. තවද නුඹලා සිදු කරන යම් යහපත් දැයක් වුව ද ඒ ගැන සැබැවින් ම අල්ලාහ් සර්ව ඥානී ය.

Who deserves the Nafaqah (Spending or Charity)
Muqatil bin Hayyan said that this Ayah was revealed about the voluntary charity. The Ayah means, `They ask you (O Muhammad ) how they should spend,' as Ibn `Abbas and Mujahid have stated. So, Allah explained it for them, saying:
