شَهۡرُ
رَمَضَانَ
ٱلَّذِيٓ
أُنزِلَ
فِيهِ
ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ
هُدٗى
لِّلنَّاسِ
وَبَيِّنَٰتٖ
مِّنَ
ٱلۡهُدَىٰ
وَٱلۡفُرۡقَانِۚ
فَمَن
شَهِدَ
مِنكُمُ
ٱلشَّهۡرَ
فَلۡيَصُمۡهُۖ
وَمَن
كَانَ
مَرِيضًا
أَوۡ
عَلَىٰ
سَفَرٖ
فَعِدَّةٞ
مِّنۡ
أَيَّامٍ
أُخَرَۗ
يُرِيدُ
ٱللَّهُ
بِكُمُ
ٱلۡيُسۡرَ
وَلَا
يُرِيدُ
بِكُمُ
ٱلۡعُسۡرَ
وَلِتُكۡمِلُواْ
ٱلۡعِدَّةَ
وَلِتُكَبِّرُواْ
ٱللَّهَ
عَلَىٰ
مَا
هَدَىٰكُمۡ
وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ
تَشۡكُرُونَ

රමළාන් මාසය වනාහි මිනිසාට මඟ පෙන්වන්නක් ලෙසත් යහමඟ පැහැදිලි කරන්නක් ලෙසත් (හොඳ නරක වෙන් කර පෙන්වන) නිර්ණායකයක් ලෙසත් එහි අල්-කුර්ආනය පහළ කරනු ලැබී ය. එබැවින් කවරෙකු එම මාසයට ප්රවේශ වන්නේ ද ඔහු එහි උපවාසය රකිත්වා. තවද කවරෙකු රෝගියෙකුව හෝ ගමනක නිරතව සිටින්නේ ද එසේ නම් වෙනත් දින ගණන් කර(උපවාසයේ නියැළෙ)ත්වා. අල්ලාහ් නුඹලාට පහසුව ප්රිය කරයි. අපහසුව ප්රිය නො කරයි. (මෙම සහනය) නුඹලා දින ගණන් සම්පූර්ණ කරනු පිණිස ද අල්ලාහ් නුඹලාට මඟ පෙන්වූ දෑ සඳහා ඔහුව විභූතිමත් කරනු පිණිස ද නුඹලා කෘතඥතාව පුද කිරීමට හැකි වනු පිණිස ද වේ.
