وَإِذۡ
جَعَلۡنَا
ٱلۡبَيۡتَ
مَثَابَةٗ
لِّلنَّاسِ
وَأَمۡنٗا
وَٱتَّخِذُواْ
مِن
مَّقَامِ
إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ
مُصَلّٗىۖ
وَعَهِدۡنَآ
إِلَىٰٓ
إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ
وَإِسۡمَٰعِيلَ
أَن
طَهِّرَا
بَيۡتِيَ
لِلطَّآئِفِينَ
وَٱلۡعَٰكِفِينَ
وَٱلرُّكَّعِ
ٱلسُّجُودِ

ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਅੱਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਘਰ (ਖ਼ਾਨਾ-ਕਾਅਬਾ) ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਮੁੜ-ਮੁੜ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਥਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਮਨ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ (ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ) ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਕਾਮੇ ਇਬਰਾਹੀਮ ਨੂੰ ਨਮਾਜ਼ ਪੜ੍ਹਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਥਾਂ ਬਣਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਅਸਾਂ ਇਬਰਾਹੀਮ ਤੇ ਇਸਮਾਈਲ ਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਤਵਾਫ਼ (ਪਰਕਰਮਾ) ਐਤਕਾਫ਼ (ਠਹਿਰਣ ਲਈ), ਰੁਕੂਅ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਜਦਾ (ਨਮਾਜ਼ ਅਦਾ) ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਪਾਕ ਸਾਫ਼ ਖੋ।
