Al-Baqarah 2:124 ۞ واذ ابتلى ابراهيم ربه بكلمات فاتمهن قال اني جاعلك للناس اماما قال ومن ذريتي قال لا ينال عهدي الظالمين ١٢٤
۞ وَإِذِ
ٱبۡتَلَىٰٓ
إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ
رَبُّهُۥ
بِكَلِمَٰتٖ
فَأَتَمَّهُنَّۖ
قَالَ
إِنِّي
جَاعِلُكَ
لِلنَّاسِ
إِمَامٗاۖ
قَالَ
وَمِن
ذُرِّيَّتِيۖ
قَالَ
لَا
يَنَالُ
عَهۡدِي
ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
١٢٤
ಇಬ್ರಾಹೀಮರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಭು ಕೆಲವು ಆದೇಶ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿದ ಸಂದರ್ಭ. ಅವರು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ತೇರ್ಗಡೆಯಾದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಾಹು ಹೇಳಿದನು; ನಾನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಜನರಿಗೆ ನಾಯಕನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಅವರು ವಿನಂತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. ‘ನನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಗಳಿಗೂ ನೀಡಬೇಕು.’ ಅಲ್ಲಾಹು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ‘ನನ್ನ ವಾಗ್ದಾನವು ದುಷ್ಕರ್ಮಿಗಳಿಗೆ ದೊರೆಯದು’ 1.
