Al-A’ráf 7:116 قال القوا فلما القوا سحروا اعين الناس واسترهبوهم وجاءوا بسحر عظيم ١١٦
قَالَ
أَلۡقُواْۖ
فَلَمَّآ
أَلۡقَوۡاْ
سَحَرُوٓاْ
أَعۡيُنَ
ٱلنَّاسِ
وَٱسۡتَرۡهَبُوهُمۡ
وَجَآءُو
بِسِحۡرٍ
عَظِيمٖ

മൂസാ പറഞ്ഞു: നിങ്ങള് ഇട്ടുകൊള്ളുക. അങ്ങനെ ഇട്ടപ്പോള് അവര് ആളുകളുടെ കണ്ണുകെട്ടുകയും അവര്ക്ക് ഭയമുണ്ടാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. വമ്പിച്ച ഒരു ജാലവിദ്യയാണ് അവര് കൊണ്ടു വന്നത്.

Ibn Kathir (Abridged)
إِمَّآ أَن تُلْقِىَ وَإِمَّآ أَن نَّكُونَ نَحْنُ الْمُلْقِينَ
(Either you throw (first), or shall we have the (first) throw) before you. In another Ayah, they said,
وَإِمَّآ أَن نَّكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَلْقَى
