Tafsir Fathul Majid Tafsir: Al-Ahqaf Ayah 28
فلولا نصرهم الذين اتخذوا من دون الله قربانا الهة بل ضلوا عنهم وذالك افكهم وما كانوا يفترون ٢٨
فَلَوْلَا نَصَرَهُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ قُرْبَانًا ءَالِهَةًۢ ۖ بَلْ ضَلُّوا۟ عَنْهُمْ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ إِفْكُهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ ٢٨
فَلَوۡلَاﳈ
نَصَرَهُمُﳉ
ٱلَّذِينَﳊ
ٱتَّخَذُواْﳋ
مِنﳌ
دُونِﳍ
ٱللَّهِﳎ
قُرۡبَانًاﳏ
ءَالِهَةَۢۖﳐﳑ
بَلۡﳒ
ضَلُّواْﳓ
عَنۡهُمۡۚﳔﳕ
وَذَٰلِكَﳖ
إِفۡكُهُمۡﳗ
وَمَاﳘ
كَانُواْﳙ
يَفۡتَرُونَﳚ
٢٨ﳛ
Why then were they not helped by those ˹idols˺ they took as gods besides Allah, hoping to get closer ˹to Him˺? Instead, they failed them. That is ˹the result of˺ their lies and their fabrications.
