When we encounter challenging situations, we sometimes fail to see any ease. Is this because we allow the anxiety and disappointments to overwhelm us?

Many of us have gone through difficulties since Covid-19 began, and my situation was no different. During my period of unemployment, I received a prestigious offer from a prospective employer. However, the offer remained postponed until it was finally withdrawn due to the prolonged nature of lockd...

And when you think you're being held back, restricted, limited or 'falling behind', consider how you may actually have been gifted with an opportunity to reflect, to restore, to rethink and to discover important understandings and realizations about life, about love, about faith, and about hope.

Some people find things placed easily on their plate, while others require more effort, more struggles, and more trials just to reach the same goal.

At times, it feels like my path carries more struggles than others. But I’ve realized — along with the struggles come miracles, mercies, and lessons that others may never experience.

Maybe Allah ﷻ wants me to walk a harder road, not to break me, but to bring me closer to Him, to show me that withou...

Bismillah.
This reflection is a bit personal and I was not planning on sharing it, but it might help someone In'sha'Allah.

I couldn't hold myself together this morning. I sat down this morning with my usual cup of water, and then immediately my eyes filled with tears and I realised that I didn't want to be alone with my emotions anymore. My instant thought was to rush to my mum and just tell her, just let it all out. And so I did Alhamdulillah. ...

Bismillah
AssalamoAlaikum,

I have recently joined this community, and this will be my first reflection. But first, I want to share how and when I got to know about Quran Reflect. It was during a time when I was feeling lost, and it seemed that all the paths were blocked. I was a student facing financial troubles as I was entering my 3rd year. The deadline was approaching, and I didn’t have any money saved nor anyone to borrow from. I prayed to A...

There’s something about hardships…

They turn hearts into stone.
They dry up our blood.
They turn nights into nightmares soaked in worry.
And it begins to make sense why Allah repeated this verse—not once, but twice.

Because people who carry pain—the insecure, the anxious, the overthinkers, the self-doubters—
they need reassurance.
They need to be reminded:
Nothing is as impossible as it feels in the moment.

There is always a way through.
Ease ...

Habits that are commit to onwards from this learning I have done on anxiety is that I will never, even for a moment think I'm alone in this life, Allah is always close. I will call upon Allah with my everything even without words, I'll let my tears do the talking. One thing I've actually realized, just by contemplating on this life, is that we're passengers on this journey, and we have tests here to test our worthiness for Jannah. The struggles, ...See more

I would like to shed light on this ayah today.

Chapter 94 : Ash-Sharh, Verse: 5
'So, surely with hardship comes ease. '

Allah سبحانه و طائلة explains that with hardship there will be ease.

From a common perspective, this means that after a test / hardship / difficult time from Allah سبحانه و طائلة , we will have ease and goodness.
But we can also look at the ayah another way.

With hardship comes knowledge, reflection , experience and most i...

Bismillah Hirrahma Nirrahim,

This beautiful ayah is quoted so often. It is comforting, but deeply comforting when remembered during hardships.

Today, I was applying a stronger medication on my son's skin. Since he was born he suffers from multiple severe allergies, severe eczema and chronic asthma. He carries like many allergy sufferers Epi-pens to save him from a fatal reaction, against coming into contact from everyday foods and there is a l...

Surah Al-Fil shows us that Allah's Power is unmatched, but it also feels personal like a reminder that he's always there watching over you. it makes you feel safe knowing that no matter how tough things get Allah can turn everything around in ways you'd never expect. for its a lesson in trust and hope. even when life feels hard.

For me, Surah Al-Fil feels like a story I can hold onto when life gets heavy. I’ve had times where people hurt me, wro...
