Various times in the Qur'an, Allah SWT reveals such integral qualities of Al Insaan - Mankind which only Al Khaaliq - The Creator can. We learn from this ayah, as well as many others that every human being will have hardships in their lives. There will be struggle one way or the other. A poor person will struggle with poverty, a rich person will have physical or mental sickness.
Even the person who lives for pleasure and money will go through pain in some form or the other. Which is why it is better to go through struggles that will pay off in the aakhirah.
