وَإِذَا ٱلنُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتْ

Bismillahir Rahman Ar Raheem

I saw a photo of a child buried under the rubble of a bombed building and remembered this Surah. On the day the child who was buried alive will be asked 'for what crime were you buried alive'. Interestingly, the current war on Palestine has been closely associated with the phrase 'misinformation' with every group and party accusing the other of misinformation. In the 10th ayah of this Surah, Allah SWT reminds' when the records of deeds are spread out'. Imagine that day the records of all these children buried alive is put out in the open and record of every person and their intention in relation to these children is put out in the open, and there are no lies or misinformation or false claims that day. What will the children say? What will the records read, I wonder. 
These children will not be able to bear witness on any stand or court today. They will be systematically erased from existence and history. However, on the Day of Judgement, it's the testimony of the baby that can not be suppressed. No wonder it's so hard to be a Muslim in this world. The Qur'an teaches us to be just to those who can not advocate for themselves in a world that thrives on injustices and power play. No wonder, the reward of being Muslim is Jannatun na'eem. May Allah SWT grant us all Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen
