#NewBegining Allah has shown us ways to see if we are grateful or ungrateful and there is a garden prepared for those who burned themselves in striving and struggling to be in Allah’s path by being grateful.. I feel a connection among ayah # 3, 8 and 22.
Ayah - 3 : There are ways to be grateful no matter how worse the situation is !
Ayah - 8: Giving to the orphans or needy when there is love for the food in heart.
Give food despite their desire for it to the needy, the orphans and the captive. Saying to themselves, we feed you for the sake of Allah, looking neither rewards nor thanks from you. We fear from Allah the horrible distressful Day. - [76:8 to 10]
I was looking at these ayat and I was like thinking, Allah gave a guarantee here if you fear the Judgement Day and want ease on that Day, then give food to the needy, the orphans ...
Sometimes we see people working hard to please Allah and we assume it must be easy for them. Or we assume that they don't have the desire to enjoy their time, wealth, energy in other ways. This ayah reminds us that they have the same desires as us, but they strive for Allah's sake despite those desires.
