واخوانهم يمدونهم في الغي ثم لا يقصرون ٢٠٢
وَإِخْوَٰنُهُمْ يَمُدُّونَهُمْ فِى ٱلْغَىِّ ثُمَّ لَا يُقْصِرُونَ ٢٠٢

But the devils persistently plunge their ˹human˺ associates1 deeper into wickedness, sparing no effort.

Explanation

These readings represent linguistic options in this verb (forms I and IV, respectively) are identical in meaning, though the first is more commonly found in negative contexts [al-Mahdawi]. The brackets here clarify the most common interpretation of this verse [see Ibn ‘Ashur].
