او تقولوا انما اشرك اباونا من قبل وكنا ذرية من بعدهم افتهلكنا بما فعل المبطلون ١٧٣
أَوْ تَقُولُوٓا۟ إِنَّمَآ أَشْرَكَ ءَابَآؤُنَا مِن قَبْلُ وَكُنَّا ذُرِّيَّةًۭ مِّنۢ بَعْدِهِمْ ۖ أَفَتُهْلِكُنَا بِمَا فَعَلَ ٱلْمُبْطِلُونَ ١٧٣

This addresses the progeny of Adam in the second person, following from the call to bear witness. This may also be the speech of the angels who bear witness to the humans’ admission that Allah is their Lord.

This refers to them in the third person, following the overall structure in the verse.
