We will certainly test you ˹believers˺ until We prove those of you who ˹truly˺ struggle ˹in Allah’s cause˺ and remain steadfast, and reveal how you conduct yourselves.

ثم ذكر أعظم امتحان يمتحن به عباده، وهو الجهاد في سبيل الله، فقال:{ وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ } أي: نختبر إيمانكم وصبركم، { حَتَّى نَعْلَمَ الْمُجَاهِدِينَ مِنْكُمْ وَالصَّابِرِينَ وَنَبْلُوَ أَخْبَارَكُمْ } فمن امتثل أمر الله وجاهد في سبيل الله لنصر دينه وإعلاء كلمته فهو المؤمن حقا، ومن تكاسل عن ذلك، كان ذلك نقصا في إيمانه.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
