Readings
وَقِيلِهِ
wa-qīlihī
“And (He knows) his statement” OR “I swear by him calling out 'O Lord' that they are a people devoid of faith”
In this reading, the genitive word is conjoined to the word as-sāʿati in ayah 85, or the waw forms an oath.
وَقِيلَهُ
wa-qīlahū
“And (the Prophet makes) his statement”
This reading has a cognate accusative for an implied verb. There are several other explanations of its grammar.

Explanation

These readings provide complementary meanings, and have various interpretations [Ibn 'Ashur].

He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
