يَٰأَيُّهَ

يَٰأَيُّهُ
yā ayyuhu s-sāḥiru
“O sorcerer!”

Explanation

These readings represent linguistic options for this vocative structure and are identical in meaning. Ibn ʿĀmir does this at three junctures (24:31, 43:49, 55:31) due to the spelling in all the codices without alif [al-Mahdawi].
