Gáfir 40:83 فلما جاءتهم رسلهم بالبينات فرحوا بما عندهم من العلم وحاق بهم ما كانوا به يستهزيون ٨٣
فَلَمَّا
جَآءَتۡهُمۡ
رُسُلُهُم
بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ
فَرِحُواْ
بِمَا
عِندَهُم
مِّنَ
ٱلۡعِلۡمِ
وَحَاقَ
بِهِم
مَّا
كَانُواْ
بِهِۦ
يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ
٨٣
When their messengers came to them with clear proofs, they were prideful in whatever ˹worldly˺ knowledge they had,1 and were ˹ultimately˺ overwhelmed by what they used to ridicule.
