Or ˹is it because˺ they possess the treasuries of the mercy of your Lord—the Almighty, the Giver ˹of all bounties˺.

{ أَمْ عِنْدَهُمْ خَزَائِنُ رَحْمَةِ رَبِّكَ الْعَزِيزِ الْوَهَّابِ } فيعطون منها من شاءوا، ويمنعون منها من شاءوا، حيث قالوا:{ أَءُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ الذِّكْرُ مِنْ بَيْنِنَا } أي: هذا فضله تعالى ورحمته، وليس ذلك بأيديهم حتى يتحجروا على اللّه.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
