While reflecting on this ayah, I found it interesting that while introducing Solomon, Allah chose to describe him as a slave rather than a prophet. It's as if Allah is implying the first and foremost quality of his was that of a slave. He was an awesome slave; in serving Allah, he did his utmost best.
