لقد حق القول على اكثرهم فهم لا يومنون ٧
لَقَدْ حَقَّ ٱلْقَوْلُ عَلَىٰٓ أَكْثَرِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ٧

أَكۡثَرِهِمۡ
فَهُمۡ
لَا
يُؤۡمِنُونَ

The decree ˹of torment˺ has already been justified against most of them, for they will never believe.

السعدي Al-Sa'di
أي:
نفذ فيهم القضاء والمشيئة، أنهم لا يزالون في كفرهم وشركهم، وإنما حق عليهم القول بعد أن عرض عليهم الحق فرفضوه، فحينئذ عوقبوا بالطبع على قلوبهم.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
