ان الذين لا يومنون بالاخرة زينا لهم اعمالهم فهم يعمهون ٤
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ زَيَّنَّا لَهُمْ أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ فَهُمْ يَعْمَهُونَ ٤

As for those who do not believe in the Hereafter, We have certainly made their ˹evil˺ deeds appealing to them, so they wander blindly.

I listened to a lecture today and one point really stood out, so I wanted to share:
Shaytan gift-wraps sins for us. He presents them to us in such a way that they appear to be beautiful or good. But it is upon us to unwrap them and see them for what they truly are. To recognize the ugliness and destruction contained within.

تلكَ الأعمال هي أَعمال الإشراك الظَّاهرةُ والباطنةُ؛ فَهم لإلفهِم إِيَّاها وتصلُّبهِم فيها صاروا غَير قَابلين لهَديِ هذا الكتاب الَّذي جاءتهم آياته. ابن عاشور:19/220.
السؤال: من خلال الآية: بين عاقبة الإصرار على الخطأ.
(إن الذين لا يؤمنون) أي: [لا] يوجدون الإيمان ويجددونه (بالآخرة زينا) أي: بعظمتنا التي لا يمكن دفاعها (لهم أعمالهم) أي: القبيحة، حتى أعرضوا عن الخوف من عاقبتها مع ظهور قباحتها. البقاعي:14/127.
