27:21
لاعذبنه عذابا شديدا او لاذبحنه او لياتيني بسلطان مبين ٢١
لَأُعَذِّبَنَّهُۥ عَذَابًۭا شَدِيدًا أَوْ لَأَا۟ذْبَحَنَّهُۥٓ أَوْ لَيَأْتِيَنِّى بِسُلْطَـٰنٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ ٢١
لَأُعَذِّبَنَّهُۥﲸ
عَذَابٗاﲹ
شَدِيدًاﲺ
أَوۡﲻ
لَأَاْذۡبَحَنَّهُۥٓﲼ
أَوۡﲽ
لَيَأۡتِيَنِّيﲾ
بِسُلۡطَٰنٖﲿ
مُّبِينٖﳀ
٢١ﳁ
I will surely subject him to a severe punishment, or ˹even˺ slaughter him, unless he brings me a compelling excuse.”

Discipline and Determination — Qualities of Successful People and Organisations

We live in a time where discipline is often misunderstood or even portrayed negatively as harsh, rigid, or old-fashioned.

Recently, one of my young students read verses 20–21 from Surah An-Naml and immediately raised a question with some concern in her voice:
