سيقولون لله قل فانى تسحرون ٨٩
سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِ ۚ قُلْ فَأَنَّىٰ تُسْحَرُونَ ٨٩

sa-yaqūlūna li-llāhi...sa-yaqūlūna li-llāhi
“They reply, 'To God'...They reply, 'To God'”
I.e. Addressing them in the third person. The final statement is in the passive voice.
سَيَقُولُونَ اللَّهُ...اللَّهُ
sayaqūlūna Llāhu...sayaqūlūna Llāhu
“They reply, '(It is) God'...They reply, '(It is) God'”
I.e. Addressing them in the second person.

Explanation

These readings amount to the same meaning. Note that all readers have li-llāhi just before this in 23:85. The reading of these latter two junctures with alif accords with the Basran Codex.

He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
