From this, Joseph should know that I did not speak dishonestly about him in his absence, for Allah certainly does not guide the scheming of the dishonest.

( ذلك ليعلم أني لم أخنه بالغيب ) تقول : إنما اعترفت بهذا على نفسي ، ذلك ليعلم زوجي أن لم أخنه في نفس الأمر ، ولا وقع المحذور الأكبر ، وإنما راودت هذا الشاب مراودة ، فامتنع; فلهذا اعترفت ليعلم أني بريئة ، ( وأن الله لا يهدي كيد الخائنين )
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
