ثم ياتي من بعد ذالك سبع شداد ياكلن ما قدمتم لهن الا قليلا مما تحصنون ٤٨
ثُمَّ يَأْتِى مِنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ سَبْعٌۭ شِدَادٌۭ يَأْكُلْنَ مَا قَدَّمْتُمْ لَهُنَّ إِلَّا قَلِيلًۭا مِّمَّا تُحْصِنُونَ ٤٨
ثُمَّ
يَأۡتِي
مِنۢ
بَعۡدِ
ذَٰلِكَ
سَبۡعٞ
شِدَادٞ
يَأۡكُلۡنَ
مَا
قَدَّمۡتُمۡ
لَهُنَّ
إِلَّا
قَلِيلٗا
مِّمَّا
تُحۡصِنُونَ
٤٨
Then after that will come seven years of great hardship which will consume whatever you have saved, except the little you will store ˹for seed˺.

السعدي Al-Sa'di
{ ثُمَّ يَأْتِي مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ }
أي: بعد تلك السنين السبع المخصبات.
{ سَبْعٌ شِدَادٌ }
أي: مجدبات جدا
{ يَأْكُلْنَ مَا قَدَّمْتُمْ لَهُنَّ }
أي: يأكلن جميع ما ادخرتموه ولو كان كثيرا.
{ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا مِمَّا تُحْصِنُونَ }
أي: تمنعونه من التقديم لهن.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
