The man from Egypt1 who bought him said to his wife, “Take good care of him, perhaps he may be useful to us or we may adopt him as a son.” This is how We established Joseph in the land, so that We might teach him the interpretation of dreams. As a child the story Yusuf alahis salaam, is probably one of the most captivating stories amongst the blessed Prophets. The story of Prophet Yusuf is told by Allaah to the Messenger of Allah peace and blessings be upon him in detail and he could not know such detail before. This is an amazing sign in itself of the truth of the Qur'an.

A lot of stuff is happening so fast , it's normal to get overwhelmed sometimes. College cancelled , still can't visit family. I can plan so much , I had so many goals for this semester but subhan Allah it seems like everything is gone. But sometimes I guess we need start from the very beginning. Arriving at the Annual Youth Meeting a few weeks ago, we were given a really nice journal to keep our reflections. I wanted to write a verse on the first page that I would recite before I write my reflection and it was hard for me to think which verse I wanted to write.
The first time this verse hit me was when president Morsi died, there was a video circulating in which he recited this verse. And now he was dead.
