And it was said, “O earth! Swallow up your water. And O sky! Withhold ˹your rain˺.” The floodwater receded and the decree was carried out. The Ark rested on Mount Judi, and it was said, “Away with the wrongdoing people!”

Akasema Mwenyezi Mungu kuiambia ardhi, baada ya watu wa Nūḥ kuangamia, «Ewe ardhi! Kunywa maji yako. Na ewe mbingu! Simamisha kunyesha mvua.» Na maji yakapungua na yakanywea, na amri ya Mwenyezi Mungu ikapitishwa ya kuangamia watu wa Nūḥ, na jahazi ikaegesha juu jabali la Jūdīy. Na hapo kukasemwa, «Kuwa mbali (na rehema ya Mwenyezi Mungu) ni kwa wale madhalimu waliokiuka mipaka ya Mwenyezi Mungu na wasiamini.»
