بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Sahih International
The Prophet frowned and turned awayMuhsin Khan
(The Prophet (Peace be upon him)) frowned and turned away,

Sahih International
Because there came to him the blind man, [interrupting].Muhsin Khan
Because there came to him the blind man (i.e. 'Abdullah bin Umm-Maktum, who came to the Prophet (Peace be upon him) while he was preaching to one or some of the Quraish chiefs).

Sahih International
But what would make you perceive, [O Muhammad], that perhaps he might be purifiedMuhsin Khan
But what could tell you that per chance he might become pure (from sins)?

Sahih International
Or be reminded and the remembrance would benefit him?Muhsin Khan
Or that he might receive admonition, and that the admonition might profit him?

Sahih International
As for he who thinks himself without need,Muhsin Khan
As for him who thinks himself self-sufficient,

Sahih International
And not upon you [is any blame] if he will not be purified.Muhsin Khan
What does it matter to you if he will not become pure (from disbelief, you are only a Messenger, your duty is to convey the Message of Allah).

Sahih International
But as for he who came to you striving [for knowledge]Muhsin Khan
But as to him who came to you running.

Sahih International
While he fears [ Allah ],Muhsin Khan
And is afraid (of Allah and His Punishment),
