Ma'arif al-Qur'an طه کی تفسیر، آیت 128
افلم يهد لهم كم اهلكنا قبلهم من القرون يمشون في مساكنهم ان في ذالك لايات لاولي النهى ١٢٨
أَفَلَمْ يَهْدِ لَهُمْ كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْقُرُونِ يَمْشُونَ فِى مَسَـٰكِنِهِمْ ۗ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ لِّأُو۟لِى ٱلنُّهَىٰ ١٢٨
اَفَلَمْ
یَهْدِ
لَهُمْ
كَمْ
اَهْلَكْنَا
قَبْلَهُمْ
مِّنَ
الْقُرُوْنِ
یَمْشُوْنَ
فِیْ
مَسٰكِنِهِمْ ؕ
اِنَّ
فِیْ
ذٰلِكَ
لَاٰیٰتٍ
لِّاُولِی
النُّهٰی
۟۠
پھر کیا اِن لوگوں کو 1 (تاریخ کے اِس سبق سے)کوئی ہدایت نہ ملی کہ اِن سے پہلے کتنی ہی قوموں کو ہم ہلاک کر چکے ہیں جن کی (بربادشدہ)بستیوں میں آج یہ چلتے پھرتے ہیں؟ درحقیقت اِس میں 2 بہت سی نشانیاں ہیں اُن لوگوں کےلیےجو عقلِ سلیم رکھنے والے ہیں

آپ 20:128 سے 20:129 آیات کے گروپ کی تفسیر پڑھ رہے ہیں
Commentary
The word ھُدٰی - (guidance) implied in the first sentence of verse 128 can refer either to the Qur'an or to the Holy Prophet ﷺ and the meaning would be, "Did not the Qur'an or the Holy Prophet ﷺ direct them i.e. the people of Makkah and tell them about the nations and the societies who were destroyed because they disobeyed the commands of Allah and turned away from the message brought to them by the Holy Prophet ﷺ ، and whose houses and lands are now occupied by them?" It is also possible that the word ھُدٰی (guidance) may refer to God in which case the meaning would be "Did God not direct."
