اور نہیں ہے زمین پر چلنے والا کوئی بھی جانور اور نہ کوئی پرندہ جو اپنے دونوں بازوؤں سے اڑتا ہے مگر وہ بھی تمہاری ہی طرح کی امتیں ہیں ہم نے تو اپنی کتاب میں کسی شے کی کوئی کمی نہیں رکھی ہے پھر یہ اپنے رب کی طرف لوٹائے جائیں گے
شروع اللہ کے نام سے جو بڑا مہربان، نہایت رحم والا ہے۔
آج میں مغرب کی نماز پڑھ رہی تھی، جب میرا چھوٹا بھائی عمر—جو ابھی صرف چار سال کا ہے—پارک سے واپس آیا۔ وہ سیدھا میری طرف لپکا، اس کے چہرے پر ایک خوشی تھی۔ اس کے ننھے سے ہاتھ میں ایک نہایت ہری بھری اور خوبصورت ٹہنی تھی۔
اس نے وہ ٹہنی میرے سامنے لہراتے ہوئے کہا:
"میں یہ پارک سے لایا ہوں!"
میں نے کچھ سیکنڈز کے لیے اسے دیکھا، پھر اس کے ہاتھ سے وہ ٹہنی تھامتے ہوئے نرمی سے کہا:
