فتعالى الله الملك الحق ولا تعجل بالقران من قبل ان يقضى اليك وحيه وقل رب زدني علما ١١٤
فَتَعَـٰلَى ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمَلِكُ ٱلْحَقُّ ۗ وَلَا تَعْجَلْ بِٱلْقُرْءَانِ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يُقْضَىٰٓ إِلَيْكَ وَحْيُهُۥ ۖ وَقُل رَّبِّ زِدْنِى عِلْمًۭا ١١٤

Exalted is Allah, the True King! Do not rush to recite ˹a revelation of˺ the Quran ˹O Prophet˺ before it is ˹properly˺ conveyed to you,1 and pray, “My Lord! Increase me in knowledge.”

يُقۡضَىٰ إِلَيۡكَ وَحۡيُهُ
yuqḍā ilayka waḥyuhū
“before its revelation to you is complete”
This reading is expressed in the passive voice.
نَقۡضِيَ إِلَيۡكَ وَحۡيَهُ
naqḍiya ilayka waḥyahū
“before We have revealed it to you completely”
In this reading, Allah speaks of His action with the first-person majestic plural, as in the ayahs before and after.

Explanation

These readings amount to the same meaning [Fakhir].

He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
