ومن الناس من يتخذ من دون الله اندادا يحبونهم كحب الله والذين امنوا اشد حبا لله ولو يرى الذين ظلموا اذ يرون العذاب ان القوة لله جميعا وان الله شديد العذاب ١٦٥
وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَندَادًۭا يُحِبُّونَهُمْ كَحُبِّ ٱللَّهِ ۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَشَدُّ حُبًّۭا لِّلَّهِ ۗ وَلَوْ يَرَى ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓا۟ إِذْ يَرَوْنَ ٱلْعَذَابَ أَنَّ ٱلْقُوَّةَ لِلَّهِ جَمِيعًۭا وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعَذَابِ ١٦٥

ٱللَّهِﱳ

لِّلَّهِۗﱽﱾ

يَرَىﲀ
ٱلَّذِينَﲁ
ظَلَمُوٓاْﲂ
إِذۡﲃ
يَرَوۡنَﲄ
ٱلۡعَذَابَﲅ
أَنَّﲆ
ٱلۡقُوَّةَﲇ
لِلَّهِﲈ
جَمِيعٗاﲉ
وَأَنَّﲊ
ٱللَّهَﲋ
شَدِيدُﲌ
ٱلۡعَذَابِﲍ
١٦٥ﲎ
E nga njerëzit ka asish që në vend të All-llahut besojnë idhujt, që i duan (i madhërojnë) ata, sikur (që besimtarët e vërtetë e duan) All-llahun, po dashuria e atyre që besuan All-llahun është shumë më e fortë. E sikur që dinin ata që bënë mizori se kur do ta shohin dënimin (në botën tjetër), do të binden se e tërë fuqia i takon vetëm All-llahut (e jo idhujve) dhe se All-llahu është ndëshkues i rreptë.

wa-law yarā…idh yarawna…anna al-quwwata …wa-anna Llāha
“If those who did wrong could only see when they witness the punishment: that power belongs entirely to God, and that God is severe in punishment”

The above two readings have the third person yarā which makes “those who did wrong” the subject. They differ with respect to anna (in the same sentence) and inna (new sentences).

In these three readings, the second person tarā is addressed to the Prophet (ﷺ) or people in general, so “those who did wrong” is the object. They differ on anna/inna in the same way, with the additional variant in Ibn ʿĀmir of yurawna in the passive (most have yarawna, active).

Shpjegim
The translations here represent some possibilities among numerous others, as the grammar is open to various interpretations in addition to the variant readings. Some describe the wrongdoers’ own recognition of God’s power to punish, which will lead them to regret, and should cause them to change their ways in this life. The others call the Believers to consider the sorry state of those wrongdoers who set up rivals to God.
