Kiraat: Al-A'raf 7:142
۞ وواعدنا موسى ثلاثين ليلة واتممناها بعشر فتم ميقات ربه اربعين ليلة وقال موسى لاخيه هارون اخلفني في قومي واصلح ولا تتبع سبيل المفسدين ١٤٢
۞ وَوَٰعَدْنَا مُوسَىٰ ثَلَـٰثِينَ لَيْلَةًۭ وَأَتْمَمْنَـٰهَا بِعَشْرٍۢ فَتَمَّ مِيقَـٰتُ رَبِّهِۦٓ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةًۭ ۚ وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِأَخِيهِ هَـٰرُونَ ٱخْلُفْنِى فِى قَوْمِى وَأَصْلِحْ وَلَا تَتَّبِعْ سَبِيلَ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ ١٤٢
۞ وَوَٰعَدۡنَاﲄ ﲅ
مُوسَىٰﲆ
ثَلَٰثِينَﲇ
لَيۡلَةٗﲈ
وَأَتۡمَمۡنَٰهَاﲉ
بِعَشۡرٖﲊ
فَتَمَّﲋ
مِيقَٰتُﲌ
رَبِّهِۦٓﲍ
أَرۡبَعِينَﲎ
لَيۡلَةٗۚﲏﲐ
وَقَالَﲑ
مُوسَىٰﲒ
لِأَخِيهِﲓ
هَٰرُونَﲔ
ٱخۡلُفۡنِيﲕ
فِيﲖ
قَوۡمِيﲗ
وَأَصۡلِحۡﲘ
وَلَاﲙ
تَتَّبِعۡﲚ
سَبِيلَﲛ
ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَﲜ
١٤٢ﲝ
Dhe Ne i caktuam Musait tridhjetë net (afatin për shpallje), e ato i plotësuam edhe me dhjetë dhe kështu u mbush afati për takim Zotin e tij në katërdhjetë net. Ndërsa Musai vëllait të vet Harunit, i tha: “Më zëvendëso mua te populli im dhe rregulloo, e mos shko rrugës së të këqinjve”.

وَوَاعَدْنَا
wa-wāʿadnā Mūsā
“We made an appointment with Moses…”
Verb form III indicates a mutual commitment, or it can be understood like the other reading, as an instruction from God.
وَوَعَدْنَا
wa-waʿadnā Mūsā
“We made an appointment for Moses…”
This reading (form I) describes the instruction given by God.
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel

Shpjegim
The two readings either have the same meaning, or the first includes an element of mutuality: God committed to give Moses (pbuh) revelation and prophethood, and Moses committed to arrive at the Mount at the appointed time and fulfil the responsibility given to him. In the other meaning (and the second reading), it means that God “promised” in the sense of “commanded” because the command contained honour and status for Moses [Ibn ‘Ashur].
