وما انت بهاد العمي عن ضلالتهم ان تسمع الا من يومن باياتنا فهم مسلمون ٥٣
وَمَآ أَنتَ بِهَـٰدِ ٱلْعُمْىِ عَن ضَلَـٰلَتِهِمْ ۖ إِن تُسْمِعُ إِلَّا مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا فَهُم مُّسْلِمُونَ ٥٣
وَمَآ
أَنتَ
بِهَٰدِ
ٱلۡعُمۡيِ
عَن
ضَلَٰلَتِهِمۡۖ
إِن
تُسۡمِعُ
إِلَّا
مَن
يُؤۡمِنُ
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
فَهُم
مُّسۡلِمُونَ
٥٣
Nem és guia dos cegos, em seu erro, Só podes fazer-te escutar por aqueles que crêem nos Nossos versículos e sãomuçulmanos.

“you cannot guide the (spiritually) blind”
This reading is based on an active participle with a ba' particle emphasising negation. The second word is an annexed genitive.
تَهْدِي العُمْيَ
tahdī l-ʿumya
“you will not guide the (spiritually) blind”
This reading has an imperfect verb with its object.
