Ghaafir (Al-Mu'min) 40:83 فلما جاءتهم رسلهم بالبينات فرحوا بما عندهم من العلم وحاق بهم ما كانوا به يستهزيون ٨٣
فَلَمَّا
جَآءَتۡهُمۡ
رُسُلُهُم
بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ
فَرِحُواْ
بِمَا
عِندَهُم
مِّنَ
ٱلۡعِلۡمِ
وَحَاقَ
بِهِم
مَّا
كَانُواْ
بِهِۦ
يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ
٨٣
Kerana pada masa mereka didatangi oleh Rasul-rasul yang diutus kepada mereka dengan membawa keterangan-keterangan (untuk menyelamatkan mereka, mereka mengejek-ejeknya, dan) mereka bergembira dengan pengetahuan yang ada pada mereka (yang mengenai keduniaan semata-mata); dan dengan yang demikian mereka pun diliputi oleh azab yang mereka ejek-ejek dahulu.
