امن يجيب المضطر اذا دعاه ويكشف السوء ويجعلكم خلفاء الارض االاه مع الله قليلا ما تذكرون ٦٢
أَمَّن يُجِيبُ ٱلْمُضْطَرَّ إِذَا دَعَاهُ وَيَكْشِفُ ٱلسُّوٓءَ وَيَجْعَلُكُمْ خُلَفَآءَ ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ أَءِلَـٰهٌۭ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ قَلِيلًۭا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ ٦٢
أَمَّنﲧ
يُجِيبُﲨ
ٱلۡمُضۡطَرَّﲩ
إِذَاﲪ
دَعَاهُﲫ
وَيَكۡشِفُﲬ
ٱلسُّوٓءَﲭ
وَيَجۡعَلُكُمۡﲮ
خُلَفَآءَﲯ
ٱلۡأَرۡضِۗﲰﲱ
أَءِلَٰهٞﲲ
مَّعَﲳ
ٱللَّهِۚﲴﲵ
قَلِيلٗاﲶ
مَّاﲷ
تَذَكَّرُونَﲸ
٦٢ﲹ
Atau siapakah yang memperkenankan doa orang yang menderita apabila ia berdoa kepadaNya, dan yang menghapuskan kesusahan, serta menjadikan kamu pengganti (umat-umat yang telah lalu) mendiami dan menguasai bumi? Adakah sebarang tuhan yang lain bersama-sama Allah? Amat sedikit di antara kamu yang mengingati (nikmat Allah itu).

Sometimes I get overwhelmed by many things, by the sins I do in private, and people think I am a righteous person, but I am far from that. Despite all of that, Allah has never let me down. Whenever I turn back to him when I am in dire need, do not give up. Allah is with you as long as you do not lose hope and repent

"Who answers the desperate one when He is called?”
He asked it as a question; as if the answer wasn't already Him.
Perhaps because the question is meant to be repeated to our own hearts.
And the heart answers:
Of course. The Lord of the Worlds.
Of the Heavens. Of whatever lies between and within.

I recently had to do an unpleasant task at work and it was making me feel miserable for hours. Suddenly, my negative thought cycle was interrupted by the thought that there must be an ayah of the Quran I could turn to in this situation. I remembered this verse from Surah Naml which changed my outlook.

One said(yusuf a.s) وَقالَ لِلَّذي ظَنَّ أَنَّهُ ناجٍ مِنهُمَا اذكُرني عِندَ رَبِّكَ and he forgot him as soon as he is out of prison فَأَنساهُ الشَّيطانُ ذِكرَ رَبِّهِ
But the other said (musa a.s) رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنْزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ and he didn't even have to go and ask anymore, the help itself came to him فَجَاءَتْهُ إِحْدَاهُمَا تَمْشِي عَلَى اسْتِحْيَاءٍ قَالَتْ إِنَّ أَبِي يَدْعُوكَ لِيَجْزِيَكَ أَجْرَ مَا سَقَيْتَ لَ...

Only Him knowing fully well that non other than Him can remove your distress. No doubt it is Allah، Who helps a person when he is in distress. If you reflect, there was a moment when you were distressed with no way out and then suddenly, it disappears.
It may come again and drag you back to Allah swt , but it is removed again. Allah swt reminds us that it is He who listens to His slave while he is in this low position in his life.
And to mention that in the surah named after an ant . Something we see to be very small....
