وما انت بهاد العمي عن ضلالتهم ان تسمع الا من يومن باياتنا فهم مسلمون ٥٣
وَمَآ أَنتَ بِهَـٰدِ ٱلْعُمْىِ عَن ضَلَـٰلَتِهِمْ ۖ إِن تُسْمِعُ إِلَّا مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا فَهُم مُّسْلِمُونَ ٥٣
وَمَآ
أَنتَ
بِهَٰدِ
ٱلۡعُمۡيِ
عَن
ضَلَٰلَتِهِمۡۖ
إِن
تُسۡمِعُ
إِلَّا
مَن
يُؤۡمِنُ
بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا
فَهُم
مُّسۡلِمُونَ
٥٣
Tampoco puedes guiar a los ciegos [de corazón] que están extraviados. Tú solo puedes hacer que escuchen quienes creen en Mis signos y se someten a Dios [siendo musulmanes].

بِهَادِي العُمْيِ
bi-hādi l-ʿumyi
“you cannot guide the (spiritually) blind”
This reading is based on an active participle with a ba' particle emphasising negation. The second word is an annexed genitive.
تَهْدِي العُمْيَ
tahdī l-ʿumya
“you will not guide the (spiritually) blind”
This reading has an imperfect verb with its object.
