تدبرات سورة ص، الآية 35
قال رب اغفر لي وهب لي ملكا لا ينبغي لاحد من بعدي انك انت الوهاب ٣٥
قَالَ رَبِّ ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَهَبْ لِى مُلْكًۭا لَّا يَنۢبَغِى لِأَحَدٍۢ مِّنۢ بَعْدِىٓ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْوَهَّابُ ٣٥
قَالَﲚ
رَبِّﲛ
ٱغۡفِرۡﲜ
لِيﲝ
وَهَبۡﲞ
لِيﲟ
مُلۡكٗاﲠ
لَّاﲡ
يَنۢبَغِيﲢ
لِأَحَدٖﲣ
مِّنۢﲤ
بَعۡدِيٓۖﲥﲦ
إِنَّكَﲧ
أَنتَﲨ
ٱلۡوَهَّابُﲩ
٣٥ﲪ
ولقد ابتلينا سليمان وألقينا على كرسيه شق وَلَد، وُلِد له حين أقسم ليطوفنَّ على نسائه، وكلهن تأتي بفارس يجاهد في سبيل الله، ولم يقل: إن شاء الله، فطاف عليهن جميعًا، فلم تحمل منهن إلا امرأة واحدة جاءت بشق ولد، ثم رجع سليمان إلى ربه وتاب، قال: رب اغفر لي ذنبي، وأعطني ملكًا عظيمًا خاصًا لا يكون مثله لأحد من البشر بعدي، إنك- سبحانك- كثير الجود والعطاء. فاستجبنا له، وذللنا الريح تجري بأمره طيِّعة مع قوتها وشدتها حيث أراد.

عن الحسن: أن نبي الله سليمان -عليه السلام- لمَّا عُرضت عليه الخيل، فشغله النظر إليها عن صلاة العصر (حتى توارت بالحجاب)؛ فغضب لله، فأمر بها فعقرت، فأبدله الله مكانها أسرع منها؛ سخر الريح تجري بأمره رخاء حيث شاء. الطبري:21/201-202.

There are times when our iman is soaring, and then, randomly, out of nowhere, we commit a sin.
And it hurts.
Because we genuinely felt like we were on a journey back to Allah ﷻ.
Our salah was getting better.
We were getting closer to the Qur’an.
We were starting to feel different.
And then Subhanallah, one sin happens, and it feels like we just messed everything up.

Soliman AS sacrificed his horses after them taking him from the remembrence of Allah SW, and Allah SW replaced that by giving him control over the wind to transport him where he desires.
