Today was the 17th day of Ramadan, and an opportunity to reflect on a pivotal event that also took place on this day in the second year after Hijrah: The Campaign of Badr. A number of lessons can be drawn from that event.

Battle of Badr occurred on the same date where 313 overcame 1000.
On this day I remind myself that when I face my personal 'Badr', I must know that Allah's Help is near and I must hold fast to the Quran.
