This worldly life is no more than play and amusement, but far better is the ˹eternal˺ Home of the Hereafter for those mindful ˹of Allah˺. Will you not then understand?

I was recently reflecting on Yusuf (a)'s outing with his brothers. As a child, I wonder if he must have been excited to go out for a day of fun and play with his brothers. It made me reflect on how the deception of his brothers is similar to the deception of this dunya in a way. 'This worldly life is no more than play and amusement.'[47:36] It lures us in with its false promises, but if we remain steadfast like Yusuf (a), even when getting caugh...See more

In the Name of Allah the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate,

Oh you who walks to visit the graveyard.
You are not far behind those who dwell, inside their graves.
For tomorrow someone else will come to walk to yours.
And then, someone else will walk to theirs.

Three lessons from Juz' 7

1. One of the most beautiful characteristics of the people of taqwa is that they do not disrespect the one who says 'There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is His Messenger'.

2. We are all people of diversity, diversity of personalities, priorities, different in the levels of Imaan. We should learn to accept others and be gentle with them.

3. 'Be like a traveller in this world.'
