فذرهم في غمرتهم حتى حين

فَذَرْهُمْ فِى غَمْرَتِهِمْ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍ

Bismillah

To begin with this post, I have to pause a moment. 
Don't give your consent to the deniers to harm you - someone wise.

Every time we contemplate an ayah of the Qur'an it's almost like we are recognising an already familiar feeling, almost like de ja vu. Like it's happened before, except no one I know has contemplated an ayah more than once and got the same result.

Lately, I've contemplated on all the hurt I've endured lately. I believe Allah SWT tests us with pain for so many reasons, not to just test us but so we can learn along the way. 

The Qur'an has plenty of examples for every situation we are facing. And let's remind ourselves of those that came before us and what they endured, peace be upon them.
Never ever give consent to someone to harm you, be the opposite and be merciful for each time you walk away like in surah Mursalat I believe (but can't find), with dignity and mercy, the less you will have to deal with that same situation again.

I seem to be a slow learner the older I get, and this makes me very afraid but just because I feel not stronger than yesterday does not mean I'm not strong, else why would Allah SWT burden me with more than I can handle? Would He? 

No. 

So be like the rose, that gives its fragrance even to the hand that crushed it. And walk with humility but integrity and dignity knowing that your awareness, thoughts and intentions and actions have not harmed someone by reciprocating hurt, instead say Alhamdulillah you're not the oppressor. 

I saw an image on social media of a young tree asking an old tree how it got so strong ? The older tree replied 
' The storms ' 

So believe in yourself. Trust Allah for every situation is good for the believer.
May Allah SWT inspire us to ask for strength instead of an easy situation. Ameen Ya Rabbi.
