He responded, “Should I trust you with him as I once trusted you with his brother ˹Joseph˺? But ˹only˺ Allah is the best Protector, and He is the Most Merciful of the merciful.”

﴿قَالَ هَلۡ﴾ مَا ﴿ءَامَنُكُمۡ عَلَیۡهِ إِلَّا كَمَاۤ أَمِنتُكُمۡ عَلَىٰۤ أَخِیهِ﴾ يُوسُف ﴿مِن قَبۡلُ﴾ وَقَدْ فعلتم به ما فعلتم ﴿فَٱللَّهُ خَیۡرٌ حِفۡظࣰاۖ﴾ وفي قراءة {حَـٰفِظࣰاۖ} تَمْيِيز كَقَوْلِهِمْ لِلَّهِ دَرّه فَارِسًا ﴿وَهُوَ أَرۡحَمُ ٱلرَّ ٰحِمِینَ ٦٤﴾ فَأَرْجُو أَنْ يَمُنّ بِحِفْظِهِ
He has revealed to you ˹O Prophet˺ the Book in truth, confirming what came before it, as He revealed the Torah and the Gospel
