وَتِلۡكَ

عَادٞۖ

جَحَدُواْ

بِـَٔايَٰتِ

رَبِّهِمۡ

وَعَصَوۡاْ

رُسُلَهُۥ

وَٱتَّبَعُوٓاْ

أَمۡرَ

كُلِّ

جَبَّارٍ

عَنِيدٖ

٥٩

That was ’Âd. They denied the signs of their Lord, disobeyed His messengers, and followed the command of every stubborn tyrant.
